I’m really interested in many forms of art, including dance, music, and other forms of expression. I enjoy stepping out of my comfort zone, exploring new things, and seeking adventures. Aquatic Product Technology, IPB University
1st Semester | GPA : 3.35
Role in TMA: Head of Visa and Database
Hi, I’m Rafi Arundaya Dwisetyo, an undergraduate student majoring in Aquatic Product Technology at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, IPB University. I’ve always been fascinated by how rich Indonesia’s marine resources are, and studying in this field gives me the opportunity to learn how to process and utilize them in ways that are both innovative and sustainable. My academic journey has helped me understand topics like food safety, marine product development, and how we can add value to aquatic resources responsibly.
Outside the classroom, I stay actively involved in campus life. One of the highlights of my college experience so far was joining the organizing team for MPKMB IPB—an orientation program for incoming freshmen. It really challenged me to step out of my comfort zone, build leadership skills, and work closely with students from different backgrounds. Through that experience, I learned the importance of teamwork, planning, and effective communication.
Looking ahead, I’m passionate about contributing to Indonesia’s marine and fisheries sector, not just through research and product development, but also by helping local coastal communities grow stronger. I hope to be part of efforts that turn marine resources into high-quality products with real impact. With a combination of technical knowledge and practical experience, I aim to help create a better future for both the ocean and the people who depend on it.
